Follow That Arrow Contest - Day 9

Oooooooh, we are so close to the end of the Follow That Arrow Contest! Here is the next-to-the-last arrow, Arrow #9:

Arrow #9

By now you should have the following information for each of the 9 arrows that have been in my Blog each day: a) what room is the arrow in? and b) what room does the arrow point to? If you have missed any of the arrows, all you have to do is scroll down my blog to see each of them.

After I post the final arrow tomorrow - Arrow #10 - then you can send your contest entry to me at contest@pandanda.com. You must have two correct answers for each of the 10 arrows for your entry to be eligible to win, so check your entry carefully. Each panda can only send in one entry, and you must send it from the email address that your account is registered to. You can read the rest of the rules here.

Hat Day Today!

Hooray for Hat Day! Search through your closet for your very favorite hat and wear it all day today. Or if you just can't decide on one favorite hat, give them each a turn on your head!

I want to see all of my Pandanda pals decked out in hats, so I am planning to make several visits today. You can click on the links below to find out what time each visit will be where you live:

• 4am Pandanda Time
• 8am Pandanda Time
• 12pm Pandanda Time
• 5pm Pandanda Time

I will spend time on each server, so don't worry if a server is full - just wait for me on a different server!

Follow That Arrow Contest - Day 7

We are getting closer to the end of the Follow That Arrow Contest! I hope you have been keeping up with your answers for Arrows 1-6. Now you can add Arrow #7 to your list!

Pay close attention to the little details around the arrow. Those are what will help you make sure you identify the arrow correctly. Remember, for each arrow you have to tell a) what room the arrow is in and b) what room the arrow points to.

I am going to have to reschedule Hat Day from Wednesday to Thursday this week. My schedule suddenly got really busy on Wednesday, so I decided to move Hat Day to Thursday so I can be sure to visit with everyone in Pandanda. I'll let you know the times I will be visiting on Thursday as soon as I can. Right here in my Blog will be the place to find that info!

Follow That Arrow Contest - Day 6

Happy Monday!

Here is Arrow #6 in the Follow That Arrow Contest. Do you know where to find it?

Please do not send in any answers yet! We have received entries from several more pandas, and they have all been deleted because they didn't follow the rules. You have to send in the answers for all 10 arrows at the same time. Only 6 arrows have been revealed so far, so it is impossible to send in a complete and correct entry right now. Contest entries will only be accepted after the 10th arrow is in my blog on September 21st.

If you have already sent in an entry, you can still send in a complete and correct entry on September 21st. Make sure to review all of the rules of the contest so your entry will be eligible to win. Happy hunting!

You know, there are a lot of wild, weird, and wonderful things you can wear on your head in Pandanda, and I want to see them! This Wednesday, September 19th, will be another awesome Hat Day!

I will be making some visits to Pandanda on Wednesday to check out all of my friends wearing their favorite hats. I'll let you know tomorrow  the times I plan to visit, but for now, start going through your closet to figure out what you want to wear!

Pandanda Hat Day!

Hey Pandas!

Today's the day to prepare for Zing Ballyhoo's arrival on Monday by wearing your favorite hat! There have been lots of cool and crazy hats, and other stuff to wear on your head, given out as prizes and gifts in the years that Pandanda has been open. And even more hats have been available in the many different clothing catalogs that have been published.

So let's see every furry panda head covered with some kind of fabulous hat today. You might even want to see how many different hats you can wear while you play today. And if you wear a hat with a certain "character", why not try out your acting skills and become that character! Pirate, Roman soldier, jester, Uncle Sam, princess, knight, wizard, Santa Claus - there are so many possibilities!

You can even vote in the new poll to let us know how many hats you have in your Pandanda closet! The poll is only open for 24 hours, so get your vote in!

Just a reminder, the deadline for submitting your Spring Theme Player Card Background drawings is getting closer, but you still have until 11:59pm PST on Wednesday, March 14th to send your drawing in to us. You can read more about it in my Spring Theme Player Card Drawing Contest! post on March 1st,  and in the Contest Update post on March 5th. Remember, you can include a suggestion for a simple animation for your background.

Mystery Mail!

Hi Panda Pals!

I received an interesting letter in the mail today. There was no name or return address, and all the message said was "See you on Monday!" It was written on the back of this:

Hmmmmm. I wonder who could have sent me that letter? It's such a mystery!

LOL, well, of course, we all know which of our Pandanda citizens that Golden Ticket belongs to - the amazing Zing Ballyhoo! Zing will be setting up his gold and blue tent in Pandanda for a short visit starting Monday, March 12th. He will scatter Golden Tickets all over Pandanda for you to collect and trade to him for his always unique prizes!

Zing's gold top hat is one of his most unmistakable features. To help us get into the spirit for Zing's return, let's have a cool Hat Day this Friday! Start looking through your closet to find your favorite hat. Can't pick just one favorite? That's ok! Wear them all (one at a time, of course!)

Hat Day Today!

It's time to decorate your head! Look through your closet, or go shopping at the Clothing Co. for something cool, funny, awesome, or crazy to wear on your head for Hat Day!

Make sure to take some pictures of you and your friends showing off your hats. You can send them to me at screenshots@pandanda.com. Please only send one or two of your very best pictures, and put HAT DAY in your email subject line.  I'll choose some pictures to post in my blog, and post the rest to an album on Facebook so everyone can enjoy them!

October is Here!

I hope your October has gotten off to a grand start! Zing has revealed his 4th prize to finish off his construction theme. Many of you already have it, but if you don't, you still have until Sunday to collect ten tickets and get the prize before Zing leaves.

The October calendar has some fun events scheduled - Orange Color Day is Wednesday, October 12th, the Pumpkin Festival begins on Friday, October 14th, Pandanda's 2nd Anniversary is on Monday, October 24th, and, of course, Halloween is on Monday, October 31st.

But that's not all! I've planned a few other events that will be added to the calendar soon. I've  added a Ghost Potion Day on Tuesday, October 18th. Yes, the Ghost Potions will be returning for the Pumpkin Festival, and I want to see Pandanda haunted by hundreds of ghosts on that day!

And what would October be without a Halloween Costume Day? I expect to see lots of costumed Pandas on Thursday, October 27th

Let's get in the costume spirit tomorrow by celebrating costumes for your head - Hat Day! Look through your closet, find your favorite hat, and wear it all day tomorrow, October 6th. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's head covered by something interesting!
